Your post (where you asked people to read/watch stuff?) made me decide to give it a go. And it's soooo addicting.

My feelings are low-level but mostly positive. I like everyone in this bar; Lucas, Peyton and Brooke are my favs. Brooke is the best friend EVER. But then I love Hayley too. And Karen and Deb. They're just all very likable characters in general, and I love how the show takes moments to show friendship between everyone. It's surprisingly self-aware too, I think.

Lucas/Peyton is my favourite. They're surprisingly sweet and sincere, though I'm beginning to roll my eyes already at the show conniving to keep them separate. But pshaw, if I ignore the show that way, I can get to how they look at each other, he sees her in her loneliness and passion, and he's had a crush on her forever + borderline creepy stalking her on a camera, but then he opens up to her anyway. Aww. (Also, I'm surprisingly fond of Dan/Deb considering I've watched up to the point where they're arguing about who keeps Nathan in the divorce. And Jake/Peyton would be totally adorable.)

Freddie/Bel are ALL THE THINGS. I only just watched The Hour (bascially mainlined both seasons in the space of about 5 days) and I ADORED it. The acting is fabulous and I cannot get enough of Freddie and his stupid face. Marnie was the character that surprised me the most though - I thought that she was just going to be some vapid debutante who would be used as a foil to the awesome ladies of Lix and Bel, but then suddenly Marnie was feisty and calling Hector out about being a cheating bastard and I loved her. Lix/Hector is like my doomed OTP, although in view of the final perhaps I need to move them to second place in favour of Freddie/Bel. I am so troubled by the fact that there may not be another season. How can they leave us this way?!
