poll time is a fun time: the december-fic-event

yo, people of the internet, or more likely: my f-list. i've been thinking and i've decided i want to do SOMETHING ficcy for december. it'll be the end of the year and i occasionally get ~sentimental about all sorts of things in december, so why not celebrate the end of the year with writing fic. i'll elaborate on what i have in mind in the next paragraph, and please, ask any questions in the comments if you have any.
as some of you have noticed, i'm prone to random bursts of organizing ficathons, but i think they attract only some of the people and often end up being the same thing all over again,
if anything from the poll needs clarification, please ask, i'm not sure if anything's at all clear, and i'd REALLY love your input on this, because i'd like to do something for you guys that'll be fun for all of us.
also, if you have some general wishes for fic/december-fic/problems with my past ficathons, say so here, please! (no one ever writes me hermione fic!, there's not enough siblings, i wish someone would write me kate bishop, i wish the fic was longer/shorter/written backwards), anything, really!)
[Poll #2024357]
eta: i, for some reason i don't remember and now think foolish, didn't make the results viewable to anyone. but don't worry, i don't want to manipulate anything, i'm just LJ-incompetent, i'll post the results when it seems wise to close the polls.

i'd really really REALLY like there to be prompts that either include possibilities for art or are even art specific.
i know that technically i could take any prompt and make it a drawing, but to be very honest the prompts i see are often very abstract and that does not really work for me personally when i'm trying to create something visual. i would need something more of a scene prompt, or a setting or a concrete problem or just anything that is a bit more specific so that i have my starting point and can develop something from there.
i would also appreciate podfic/art prompts in the form of : i love this fic (link) and i would love to be able to listen to it as a podfic/i would love a visual for that scene (it can be kept open too, depending on the left of the fic idk).
of course for anything that's based on somebody else's work it's really important to ask for permission first. so i think there should be a rule about that, in case somebody is new to the podfic game. but basically : prompting goes wild and if somebody wants to snag a prompt they have to make sure to get the okay from the original artist first. which is what you would do for any podfic, whether you get to idea on your own or through someone else's prompt, so i think it should be fine?
anyway, some art prompting would be really great, pleaaaase :)

also, yes, i hear you about the problem with abstract prompts, i think it's a problem even with writing, and i can imagine it's worse with drawing

((speaking of wip, i also have a dawn/elena fanart wip, which is based on kelsey fic, so you already know it's 1) awful 2) gay af. but i still need to color it in. scream at me, for the love of god))
yep. abstract prompts. i love reading them and admiring them. kind of like tiny little present boxes. but i utterly fail at writing with them... and as i said it doesn't really work to prompt my drawing muse either so D:

I'm not saying that in a Hunger Games setting, but I am totally saying in a Hunger Games setting...no subject

Somewhere between blush and lotion, he runs into Raven Reyes and Finnick Odair sitting together, thick as thieves, and he has the strangest feeling of familiarity that has no place here – not in this prep room, and not in the Capitol, so far away from the people he loves so much he once became a murderer just so he could see them again.
Or maybe there is nothing strange there. Maybe it’s just inertia driving him towards them, because who else is he supposed to talk to here?
Either way it would rude to ignore them, so Bellamy takes a moment to stop, and give Raven and Finnick a proper greeting. They move on the bench they’re occupying, and let him sit between them like a wedge, then pass him a suspiciously looking bag that turns out to be candy which, he hopes, has a lot less booze than it smells like.
On the other hand, maybe it’ll be easier to tune out Sextus’ nagging if he gets drunk enough.
“My stylist is an idiot with a tree fetish,” he announces, grabbing a piece of candy.
Raven snorts.
“Mine dreams about dressing tributes up as electric circuits, but he also thinks most people here don’t know what electric circuits look like,” she says with a dark grin he doesn’t remember her having a year ago. “Which reminds me...”
She reaches to her pocket, and Bellamy, surprised, holds out a hand before he can think about it. At first he has no idea what he’s looking at, but then he notices a cleverly placed piece of glass, and recognizes the device they talked about on the phone all those months ago. It’s surprisingly pretty for a piece of tech, simple and sleek, and there is something very Raven about it, too, though Bellamy can’t exactly pinpoint what it is.
It might just be that, if he’s able to compare Raven Reyes to a lamp, he should start reading less, and talking to people more.
