+ FINALLY done with my icon challenges for this month (2 is too many for me and my slow ways). It's weird without the pressure of icons that need to be made

+ Well, they call me the Doctor; I don't know why. I call me the Doctor, too. I still don't know why.

+ So, hm, 5x01 - 5x05 of DW was FANTASTIC, other than 5x03, which was just very good. And then there's a lot of very good episodes, but I miss the ~feel of fantastic episodes. BUT I have all the hope for The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang, obviously. I'm watching The Lodger right now. OH GOD THE DOCTOR IS MAKING AN OMELETTE.

+ Also LOL at Amy ~driving the TARDIS.

+ I love Eleven. OH MY GOD HE LOOKS GOOD IN THOSE GLASSES. Also my hair looks sort of like Eleven's when it's wet. And I wore a bow tie yesterday. BOW TIES ARE COOL.

+ I love Amy too.

+ The episode with the Doctor being all domestic makes me want a high school/college Eleven/Amy AU where he cooks and does other domestic things /whatever. Any ideas anyone?

+ Real life is weird. College should start soon. Doing some English tutoring, it's fun.

I'm also planning to watch Elementary when it comes out (I blame ever_neutral. I was really set on watching it but she said it's sort of ok so of course I'm going to watch it now.)

I need to finish s05 of Doctor Who BUT THEN, when I'm done with season 6, will definitely catch up with s7. Are the Ponds leaving in 7.05? Because if yes, it would be perfect that that's the first episode of DW I watch when it airs. I WILL MISS THE PONDS.

OH YES. My friend's got all the Sandman comics at home now and I'm waiting for him to finish #4 (he's the slowest reader in the universe) so he can give it to me. NEED TO REAL ALL OF THE SANDMAN. THAT MAN IS AMAZING.

I sort of ship Morpheus/Nada. It's dark and creepy, but still. Like, her awesomeness is confirmed when she SLAPS THE HELL OUT OF HIM.

Season of Mists is one of my favourite volumes. You get to meet the family! And the Devil! (One of my favourite versions of Lucifer.)

If you like Lucifer, you should definitely read the Sandman spin-off (title: Lucifer). After finishing Sandman, ofc.

Precisely. The thing about the Devil isn't necessarily that he's powerful (though he is, as evidenced by Morpheus mentioning that the Devil is "far, far more powerful than him"). It's because of his cunning, his ability to make things turn out his way.

DEATH IS THE BEST. Remember that time she dressed up as a runner because the dead were coming back to life and she was overrun? Weirdly, it... sort of fits, though? Death is a tragedy and leaves people grieving, but at the same time, in real life anyway, it's the simplest of states. You're dead or you're not.

Pansy/James Sirius is pretty neat. I'm rather fond of the fact that Gryffindor James falls for Slytherin Pansy. Who could also be his mother. So if you write more of that, I'd be v. happy!

Otherwise? Hum... Let me think.

Hermione/next-gen kid always has my fancy. I'm really not sure why.

Minerva/Severus!!!! I always forget about them when I think about cross-gen, but really they are quite perfect in that genre. (Plus, Minerva is the absolute shit. She's one of the rare women I can ship Sev with - without feeling awful bout it :P)

Of course there are the classic insestuous/transferance pairings such as Teddy/James (again, small age gap but still), Draco/Al, Harry/Scorp etc.. But there is already a lot of fic about them (fandom is so predicable, huh?), so I would leave those and give all the love to the (unfairly) shunned rarepairs #rarepair activist

Then there are the gross ships like Riddle/Slughorn (I actually read that once and I have to say : pretty interesting power-dynamic!), Harry/Sirius (which, ugh, there are so the worst I cannot even with them), Hermione/Remus (I just made that up... and now I really need to see if there's fic about these two, for it would be the best *sigh*).

AND OMG NOW I KNOW WHAT I WAAANT!!! If you write me Dumbledore/Snape fic I will literally worship you until the end of time. I have this massive fascination with them, because of their unhealthy power-balance and seriously I am heart-broken over the non-existence fic for this duo. (I don't even need it to be romantic. Although Snape is tragically in love with big D (lol). But he hates that he is, so it's not like there needs to be anything else than blind (bitter) devotion.)
